As Vampire Weekend prepare to release their new album Only God Was Above Us on April 5, they have shared two singles and booked a substantial North American tour running through the summer and into the fall.

New singles “Capricon” and “Gen-X Cops” make up a full 20% of the 10-song album. Both songs also come with music videos have music videos built around footage of New York circa 1988 by Steven Siegel, the photographer who shot the Only God Was Above Us album art.

The schedule includes lots of US dates plus three Canadian stops: Burnaby on June 18, in Toronto on September 24, and Laval on September 25.

Tickets go on schedule next Friday (February 23) at 10 a.m. local time.
