On Friday, June 24th, the U.S Supreme Court made the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Throughout the weekend rockstars all over have shared their thoughts on the matter.

Billie Joe Armstrong:

While performing at London Stadium, Green Day’s frontman said he’s “renouncing” his American citizenship. On the statement he’s repeated, “Oh, I’m not kidding.”

The band shared a message across social media of Eddie Vedder saying “No one, not the government, not politicians, not the Supreme Court should prevent access to abortion, birth control, and contraceptives.” The post also encourages people to vote, saying “Elections have consequences, please join us.
