Eminem was on hand to celebrate the reopening of Detroit’s Michigan Central Station alongside fellow Detroit natives Jack White, Diana Ross, Big Sean, Illa J, Kierra Sheard, Theo Parrish, Slum Village, The Clark Sisters, Sky Jetta, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Accompanied by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the rapper delivered a four-song set, including the live debut of his latest single, “Houdini”.

Eminem also performed “Sing For The Moment” with country singer Jelly Roll handling the chorus, and teamed up with fellow Detroit rapper Trick Trick to perform their 2005 collaboration “Welcome 2 Detroit”. He closed the set with “Not Afraid”.

The concert celebrated the reopening of Michigan Central Station, a historic train depot that had been closed since 1988 and left vacant until Ford Motor Company acquired it in 2018. After six years of restoration, it reopened on Thursday as a mixed-use facility.
